Onsite Build Process Explained

At Eagle Ridge Barn Builders, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality buildings right to your location. Here's a detailed look at each step of our onsite building process:

#1. Scheduling: We understand that your time is valuable, so we work with you to find a convenient day for building your new structure. Our scheduling manager will reach out to coordinate a date that works best for you.

#2. Arrival: On the scheduled day, our experienced crew will arrive promptly, usually in the early morning. They'll come prepared with all the necessary materials and tools loaded onto a truck and trailer. Parking as close to your chosen spot as possible, they'll aim to minimize the distance they need to carry heavy items.

#3. Jobsite Setup: Once they've arrived, the crew leader will introduce themselves and confirm all the details with you. They'll then begin setting up the jobsite, arranging materials, and ensuring access to power outlets for tools.

#4. Framing: With the setup complete, the crew will start the framing process. If your building is to be built on a concrete slab, they'll skip directly to framing the walls. Otherwise, they'll begin by constructing a sturdy and level floor frame before moving on to the walls. The walls are framed on the floor and then picked up and nailed in place one by one. If you do concrete slab here are 6 tips to make sure the slab is done the correct way for us to build on it.

#5. Painting: After the framing is complete, attention turns to protecting the exterior of your structure. Using high-quality Sherwin Williams paint, our crew meticulously covers every surface, caulking all the seams and nail holes to ensure long-lasting durability. They'll use a combination of sprayer and roller to achieve a smooth and uniform paint finish.

#6. Roofing: With the exterior protected, it's time to focus on the roof. Depending on your preference, our crew will install either shingles or metal roofing. They'll also hang the doors, ensuring a secure and weather-tight seal. Shingles vs Metal Roofing.

#7. Inspection and Cleanup: Before wrapping up, our crew conducts a thorough inspection to ensure everything meets our high standards of quality. Any remaining debris or materials are promptly cleared away, leaving your property clean and tidy.

#8. Your Approval: Once the building is complete, we'll invite you to inspect the work and ensure you're satisfied with the results. Your signature and payment, if applicable, finalize the transaction. Payment Options.

#9. Completion: With your approval, your new building is officially ready for use. Whether it's a shed, cabin, or greenhouse, you can begin enjoying your new space right away.
